LEADING LINES

THIS IS THREE LEADING LINE PICTURES I TOOK. Leading lines refers to a composition technique whereby the viewer's eye is attracted to lines that lead directly to the principle subject in the image.

THIS RIGHT HERE IS A PICTURE OF A BUNCH OF BALCONIES ON THE SIDE OF AN APARTMENT BUILDING GOING UP.

RULES OF THIRD

      These 2 pictures are examples of Rules of Thirds. The student's sweater compliments the poster in the background being that they are both orange.

         Here's some more Rules of Third photos that I've taken. In the first photo, it captures the space and the building in the background. The second photo I find creative because of the tire and the student together.

DEPTH OF FIELD COMPARISON

 This is a picture of a lighter in portrait mode. The quality of this photo is very high and there's light in the background.

This is the same picture but taken in landscape mode. Notice how the background is darker than the first one.

SELF TIMING

This picture was taken on a tri-pod using self timing mode. This mode is good to use when a group of people or one person wants to be in the picture.

This picture was also taken using self timing mode. The camera was placed hanging off the edge of a door.

Action Pictures

This is an Action Picture of my group member Eric doing the new viral dance the "Shmoney Dance". The picture was taken in Multi Snap Mode on the camera.

FRAMES

This is a Frame Portrait that I took recently. The successful thing about this picture is the red railing goes with the red sweater the girl is wearing. The picture would be better if her face was being shown.

This is also another one of my Frame Portrait pictures I have taken. The framing was really good in this picture helped by the framing of the doors and the rolling cart.
